5. Why does the name printed on the pill differ from the branded one?

The name you see printed on the pill is the active ingredient used there. The contents of generic pills are absolutely the same as in the branded versions. The only difference is in the name. Manufacturers of generic drugs cannot use brand names on their pharmaceuticals as that would be the breach of copyright while using the well known ingredients is absolutely legal.

      6. Why does the shape of the pill differ from the shape of the branded one?

Shapes differ for exactly the same reason as listed in the question above. The shape of the pill is the intellectual property of the manufacturer and reproducing it will qualify as a breach of copyright as well.

      7.  Why are your medicine prices so low?

Generic brands have same compositions but the spend on marketing is very low. We have tie ups with manufacturer directly and this gets us price advantage which we happily pass on to you.

       8. What is generic medicine or substitute?

Substitutes depend on the composition and strength of constituent salts. Substitute are medicines made by other manufactures using the same salt composition as your prescribed medicine. These medicines are often more affordable. Please note that substitutes change with the salt strength, even for same medicine name.
